Rock carbide tip, four-flute design.
For drilling holes in brick, block, concrete, and masonry Work very well in porcelain and ceramic tile, clay pots, cinder block, brick, and cement. Have tried cheaper masonry drills before, because I don’t do a lot of drilling into brick or stone, and always ending up with the hole too big or too small, because the tips don’t last and they also bend in a tougher material. DeWalt products have an excellent, well-deserved, reputation for quality and durability and these drills are no exception. They drill into the brick with a lot less effort than the cheap variety thus saving you time and effort. Well worth the money like most of Dewalt products. |

Milled u-flute with a deep-cut spiral for fast dust removal
Diamond-ground carbide tip for precise starts in tile and hard stone. Robust head for long service life and impact applications. Perfect ‘on-center’ diamond tip grinding for fast starts and drilling. Works great, running out of things to use them on. Nice quality set of bits and chisels. Conveniently packaged works well is Bosch Rotary Hammer, Fits in the Rotary Hammer Case. Before purchasing make sure you read the description for measurements. They are smaller than the picture depicts. Bought to replace a fairly entry-level set of drill bits that came with my drill, which struggled to penetrate the brick in my garage. These Bosch ones faired much better, no complaints at all and haven’t shown any signs of wear after quite a few uses. I’m not a constant DIYer so these are bound to last me a while. This item does not drill into bricks like it is supposed to. I have used four bits now that have all burnt out within seconds of use. The company replaced it by sending me a new one and now Amazon have charged me for two lots so I’m now £36 out of pocket. Not happy! Not good enough for the brand. Very poor.. |

Masonry chisels: 250 mm chisel (20 and 40 mm), 250 mm chisel point and 245 mm gouging chisel Supplied in a sturdy blow-molded case for simple transportation and storage. |
For the money, it’s superb value and for the average user that won’t use them that much, you won’t be disappointed.
The smaller sizes tend to wander a bit compared with Dewalts which generally drill true and this means that wall plugs do not always fit into drilled holes properly particularly if the wall is friable. The case serves to keep the pile of bits in more-or-less the same place. You can replace more often used bit sizes with better quality offerings from brand manufacturers. For the professional users buying more expensive drill is the best option but for ‘DIYers’ these a good buy. |
