Flexible drill shafts are used in limited and inconvenient places to drill, tighten nuts, screwing, and so on. The shafts can be used for hand drill chucks and electric screwdrivers. They are very convenient to use in electrical cabinets, computer chassis, furniture and other narrow space operations.

It reduces the amount of vibration in a wrist, you can work hours and hours – it is lightweight and easy to use. Flex-shaft is one of the most useful Dremel tool accessories, great for remote, hard-to-reach areas, allows to drill into water (when using diamond coated bits) without risk of electric shock. Make sure to keep it as straight as possible, and don’t bend it too much- it heats up pretty quickly. |

Extension is very well built and able to handle a good amount of torque. Well made and can put a large screw into wood using an impact drill. Very sturdy, flexible, and magnetic so it holds your bit and the screw, which is important when getting into hard to reach places. It is a bit heavy, though.
Great for those hard-to-reach places or slight off-sets that won’t line up for a regular drill/bit configuration. Not made for “contractor grade” jobs but will do nicely for this hobby/do-it-yourselfer. Couldn’t beat the price/buy. Holds up well when drilling holes in metal, or screwing into metal. Strong enough for most machine screws and the best part is that the outside sheathing is stiff enough to keep shape. This is especially handy for screws down behind something else. A magnetic screw bit holds you hex-head screw and you can easily guide it into a hole that otherwise it pretty hard to hit. Could stand to be a bit stiffer in the flexing section. It would help increase the stability when working with higher torque jobs. Note that it does not have a chuck, so you have to use hex bits, or get a chuck adaptor for it. |

Length is about 290mm, drill site size 6.35mm (1/4), connecting parts of the batch Hex size 6.35mm (1/4), the flexible out shield protects your hand while inside shaft rotates, bends, twist and turns to use drill into tight and confined spaces.
Helps get screws in impossible to get places, spins smoothly even when you bend it a lot. The extension is a nice handy tool, but a little flimsy, will broke quick in a tough task. Use It on low torque applications. For the price, this should be in everyone’s toolbox. |

Well made tool, works well driving and removing screws and bolts in hard to reach places, a nice U or curved L shape is possible and works okay, but even an S shape is difficult and results in serious instability. Great for awkward areas, lets you get pressure on the bit. Nice alternative to struggling with hard-to-get-to screws. It will work durable on the lightweight applications, but not for tough work. You have to drill a little slowly and keep your hand cupping the screw/extension to make sure it stays on. |

Get in all those hard to reach places, extends the reach of your drill up to 40-inches
Isomax contractor quality, vinyl coated drill extension, keyed chuck with chuck key. It’s light weight and probably will last long if used for occasional work in low-torque tasks. Works well with Dremel. The chuck snaps into the end and falls out very easily when being used. The hand held end is made of plastic, and will get very warm with moderate use and in a 3-5 minutes become uncomfortably hot to hold. You can’t hold it like a pan, large chuck makes it awkward. The extension appears to work great for lighter duty applications (e.g., driving screws or drilling smaller holes). |
